§ 44-153. Administration.

(a)

The City Manager shall designate a vehicle for hire administrator who shall administer, enforce, regulate and interpret the provisions of this article.

(b)

The vehicle for hire administrator shall have the powers and duties set forth in this article under the direction of the City Manager.

(c)

The vehicle for hire administrator, after consultation with the City Attorney, as needed, shall interpret the provisions of this article upon application and payment of any fee established. Interpretations may be in writing upon request of an affected person.

(d)

Decisions made pursuant to and interpretations of this article by the vehicle for hire administrator shall be binding. An affected person may appeal a decision or an interpretation to the City Manager for a de novo review upon application and payment of any fee established by resolution of the City Council.
