§ 44-151. Legislative purpose.

The legislative purpose of this article is to regulate the vehicles for hire business within the City in order to preserve the health, safety, morals and welfare of the citizens and visitors of the City and the protection of their property, and to promote safe, reliable, and economically viable vehicles for hire service within the City. The use of a passenger vehicle for hire shall be presumed to be the use of a vehicle for hire.
